Senior of the Month Allison Butler.

Kayla Massey, Staffer

“It’s very exciting  being senior of the month. As seniors we strive for our next goal in high school and outside of high school. Knowing my hard work is not going unnoticed is a nice feeling,” says Allison Butler.  She was definitely not expecting to be senior of the month, not this year and this early in the school year. “I was hoping for this opportunity but never thought I would get it.” It means so much to Allison to get this award because she now realizes that the teachers and staff has seen her grow as a student.

“Being a senior is a bittersweet feeling. As students we have all grown together, now we are looking to take our own paths in life…Senior year is definitely the most exciting because as a chapter of my life is closing a new one is beginning,” says Butler. Butler is in a bunch of school activities and clubs. The clubs and activities she participates in are, student council, FFA, envirothon, national honor society, national history honor society, recycling club, international club, SADD. She is also a student representative to the school board. She is involved in sports such as,  a varsity girls basketball and track and field.
