Boys Soccer: Successful Season

The Boys Soccer team lost their League and District this season. They finished their season with a record of 13-5-1, They had a successful season which led them to leagues and District. They had their first game against Northern Lebanon, and they won 4-0. They lost their second game against Wilson, then they had a 4 game winning streak, against Lehighton, North Schuylkill, Pottsville, and Tamaqua. They went away to Jim Thorpe and snap there 4 games winning streak, losing 2-3. Their home game against Blue Mountain, they won 1-0.  And lost to Schuylkill Valley 0-5. Then, Mid-season they had a 5 game winning against Tamaqua, North Schuylkill, Pottsville, Salisbury, and Lehighton. They went against Jim Thorpe and had their first tie of the season. 

The Boy’s Soccer team had their Senior Night game against Conrad Weiser, they announced the seniors, Kaden Lengle, Mitchell Lesh, Bryce Weber, Ayden Zerby and Logan Barr. The next few games, they lost to Palmerton 1-2 and Blue Mountain 0-1. They capped of the season by winning against Salisbury and Schuylkill Haven. They lost their League Semi-Final game to Jim Thorpe 3-2 and their district game to Notre Dame Green Pond 2-1. They had a fantastic season.They all pushed each other to play better and that’s what led them to Leagues and Districts. They had a tough few losses to end their season but they will be back for next season. Derek Boyer said, “We liked the way we fought all season, but we’ll be back next season.” The Cardinals have very high hopes for next season.
