The Lady Cards soccer season ended in a bittersweet loss to the Tamaqua Blue Raiders in the District Semi-finals. The girls season had some ups and downs with a record of 6-5-1. The girls came into the season ready winning their first two games. Then things got a little bumpy, not winning a game for the next two weeks. The Lady Cards ended the second half of the season with a record of 4-2, giving them their 6-5-1 record on the season.

Captain, Gabrielle Miller said, “The season was not as good as I expected it to be, but we did end in Districts, which is what our goal was, so in the end we had a good season.” All the girls were sad the season ended the way it did but they are proud of themselves for making it to Districts, after a rocky start to the first half of the season.
