You just started Senior year. You have a whole school year ahead of you. College and graduation is the furthest thing from your mind. Next thing you know, you are walking up to shake the principal’s hand and receive your diploma.

“Relieved, but yet bittersweet,” Savannah Low, senior, says about high school ending and graduating. This is how many seniors feel about their high school years coming to an end.

Low  plays softball and is a Drum Major in the Cardinal Marching Band. After high school, she plans to further her schooling and attend college for nursing. “I plan to go to college and live a long happy life, but live life to the fullest as well,” Low says. As for her softball career, Low says she does not plan to continue it during college. “Don’t get me wrong, I love the sport but it is hard playing a sport in college. I think as I’m closing the chapter of my high school career leaving my softball career to my high school years is the best choice.”

Low says her favorite part of high school was all of the softball championships and parades as a drum major. “I will miss all the good times I had with my friends, making the friends I have and much more.”
