Everyone has their own favorite TV shows and movies. To start off,my favorite tv show is The Fosters. I like The Fosters because it portrays a family who had one biological child and 4 foster children. The parents are both mothers who are lesbians. The one mother has a biological son from her previous marriage before she came out as a lesbian. I love the way the show portrays that a lesbian couple can have a family just as good as a straight couple. The lesbian couple have caring hearts which they show by taking four extra children into their home to take care of them. I just like the show overall.

One of my many favorite movies is The Fast and the Furious. The reason I like this movie is the action. I also like the cars they use in the movie. There are many Fast and Furious movies out. The movie series is about illegal street racing, heists and spies. They have a lot of action and cars in it. They lost one of their actors, Paul Walker, due to a car crash during the filming of Furious 7. The characters have a family racing business. They treat each other like family even though they are not blood related. They risk their lives doing dangerous stunts and go on dangerous adventures. They are coming up on their 15th anniversary. 

There are similarities and differences between my favorite movies and tv shows. Some of the similarities between the two is they both have family incorporated in them somehow, even if its a foster family like in The Fosters or a non blood related family like in The Fast and the Furious. Another similarity is that even through the rough times, they still stick together and are there for each other. No matter if they get into fights or even the tiniest arguments, they still stick together in the end as a family. Some of the differences between the two are in the Fosters they have lesbian mothers as foster parents. In the Fast and the Furious none of them are blood related but they still treat each other as family. The Fast and the Furious has spies and illegal street racing, while The Fosters is about the daily life of a household with 4 foster children.
