The show Friends first aired on September 22, 1994 with the cast of Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry, with Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer. For ten years they acted together and they all created a bond stronger than anything. When they announced that they were taking Friends off of Netflix I wanted to cry because they made every episode feel like we were apart of them. One of my favorite episodes is Season 10 episode 4 called “The One With The Cake.” During this episode it’s Emma’s Birthday and Chandler says “It’s 2020 Emma, how was your nap?” The reason that I think this is my favorite episode is because it shows the end of an era and the beginning of something new. One of my least favorite episodes is the last two episodes which are in Season 10 Episodes 17 and 18. The way they ended the show is extremely sad because it’s almost like they needed to add more or even continue with the show. Every part of the show either made you laugh or cry but they knew how to add something to it so every fan could say “this is my favorite part.”

Each character has their own amazing personalities and each and every character pulled all ten seasons off. If someone were to ask me who my favorite and least favorite character is I’d have to say my favorite character was Rachel Greene, portrayed by Jennifer Anniston. She was an influence because she came from a wealthier home and she went to the city and started her life there with almost nothing. She may have made some wrong decisions during the show, but she always pulled herself together and she played an amazing role. Courtney Cox’s character Monica Geller is a germaphobe and she wants everything to be perfect and go her way. She was a very bossy character and she always got what she wanted. All of the characters played an important role in making the show what it is today and nobody could do it better. The removal of Friends may be the end of a Netflix era, but we will carry the tears and all the funny moments with us.
