The Circle

What could be better than worrying about getting kicked off? Being one of the two influences that can pick the loser.

On January 1st, Netflix released a new show called ”The Circle”. Basically, this is a reality show in which a group of people compete on a fake social network to become the most popular influencers and win $100,000 if they are the last one standing. It’s like half Tinder and half group chat. Each person gets their own fancy apartment, and the only way to communicate is on the Circle, where everyone is able to create their own profiles.

The twist is that not everyone is who they claim to be. At the start, there were two catfish out of the 8 people, except no one knows who’s real and who’s not. This is the greatest part in my opinion. Every day, the players vote for their favorite to least favorite people and the two with the highest scores become the “influencers.” The influencers then discuss all the players and then decide which player then want to block from the game, which means they’re out.

After they pick who to leave, they then tell everyone. The person who gets chosen to leave gets to meet one person of their choice and find out if they are who they say they are. The next day, everyone receives a video from the blocked player, who says a few things like if they were real or not and they give a few hints.

Honestly, I think it’s an amazing show if you’re into mysteries and reality. The show leaves you wondering what will happen next, which makes it even better to binge watch. The people on there are funny and honestly adorable with what they say and do. It’s amazing what this show can show you.
