There are many reasons why Vans are better than Converse, but it all comes down to the person and their opinion. Both shoes have many things in common such as the various colors and styles they are available in, but the pros for Vans are definitely more abundant. The multiple benefits of Vans would be the reason why I’d pick them over Converse anyday.

There are many qualities that make Vans stand out. Personally, their slip-on style is my favorite due to their style matching everything, their durability, comfort and they look great for either going out at night with some friends or a simple run to the grocery store. The reason why Vans are so durable is due to the fact that most of their styles are designed for skateboarding, which requires a sturdy and reliable shoe. Converse are also known for letting water seep in, where Vans do not have this problem.

Converse are still good shoes but they aren’t for everyone. Many people who have very flat feet complain that their design hurts their feet if they are worn for too long. Also, Converse is more widely known so the chance of getting the exact same shoes as someone else is very likely. Getting a pair of Vans leaves you with more options and will help you stand out in a crowd, and that is why they are preferred by me.
