The First Week Of School For Freshman

High School Freshman Girl Looking at the High School

The first week of high school for a freshman can be a bit scary. Most incoming freshman are nervous about  the new school year, especially because of how different it is compared to middle school. It’s normal to be a little nervous, but starting high school isn’t something you should stress over. Once the first week is over with, it’ll be just like the start of any other school year.

The first day of school, in my opinion, isn’t as bad as you think it’ll be. I was really nervous the night before the first day. When I woke up the next morning, I calmed down and wasn’t as nervous. Once I got to school, I found my friends and I wasn’t really scared anymore. The main thing that I was stressed about was finding my classes. After my first couple classes, I was fine. When the first week was over, I knew where all my classes were and I liked most of my classes.

I really like high school better than middle school. The first week was so different from middle school. You get more freedom and you get to choose some of your classes, which was really good. I liked that I had friends in all of my classes. I learned that in high school, they expect more from you then they do in middle school because you’re older.

Overall, my first week of high school wasn’t bad. Sure, I was a little stressed at first, but that passed really quick after I knew where all my classes were and who was in my classes.
