I started working at Special Moments Bridal Shop in February. When I went for my interview, I wasn’t sure if I was going to be good at selling prom dresses.  They hired me because I am the age of most girls coming in to purchase prom dress. So I am able to help them find a gown that is unique to them and the event.  

My first day was a little slow, so I was able to learn how to change the mannequins. Then my first customer was pretty easy to help me get the hang of what I need to do.   I pulled dresses from the shop’s stock, helped with dressing the guest and adding my opinion when necessary.  I personally love working there. I enjoy being able to help girls find their dream dresses. Some girls are easier than others.

Some girls are able to find their dress right away. They try on one dress and they purchase it. Now my least favorite part is when it gets really busy because then you start to get confused with whose dress goes where and what school. I enjoy working with my co-workers.  

Special Moments helps me be able to relax and have fun with my job. I get to know every girl that comes in and be able to help them. I also like to be able to see the different types of dresses, the fashion trends and learn about each different company.
