“Being in the Cardinal Band is a great experience. Being in the Haunted School is even better,” says Eva Karenda, freshman member of the PGAHS Cardinal Band. Every year around Halloween, the PGASD Cardinal Band hosts a haunted house that is located in the Pine Grove Area High School. It starts at 6:00 pm and ends at 8:00 pm. The event costs five dollars per person and includes a piece of candy upon entering.

“Being in the Haunted School is a remarkable experience. It’s just so much fun to dress up with your friends and then scare some of your friends and family that decide to come through,” says McKenna Levan, sophomore also a member of the PGAHS Cardinal Band. Every year more and more non-band members are helping out scaring people left and right. Not only is there  a haunted house, there is also an event called Safe Trick or Treat where kids can grab candy in the gymnasium.

The Haunted School has evolved over the years to make it a scarier experience for the public. It’s a great opportunity for the band to raise money and provide spooktacular fun for all
