Age: 17
Family: My parents are Cathy and Jamie Brown and my brother is Hayden Brown. My mom is a teacher's aid for the Pine Grove Area School District and currently volunteers her time for the Tremont flood victims, collecting and donating various items. My father is a construction worker for the state of Pennsylvania. I have two chihuahuas named Belle and Roxie who are complete princesses.
What is on your bookshelf or Homescreen: I love reading and have many books including "Looking for Alaska", "An Abundance of Katherines", "Paper Towns" all by author John Greene. I also love the book series "The Selection" by Keira Cass.
Favorite Song: “Nonchalant” by 6LACK
Go to comfort food: Hot Cheetos for sure!
Favorite place in Pennsylvania: My favorite place in PA has to be Sweet Arrow Lake in Pine Grove. It is so beautiful and peaceful; it's such an amazing place to go and relax or read a book.
Somewhere you have always wanted to travel: I have always wanted to travel to Mykonos, Greece. I think it is the most beautiful place in the world!
Hobbies: My main hobby is volleyball. I play volleyball all year round. During the fall, I play on our school's volleyball team. During the winter/spring, I play for a club team called Surge and in the summer I spend my days playing in different volleyball tournaments with different people. I also enjoy vlogging in my free time!
Why did you join Cardinal Chronicle: I joined the Cardinal Chronicle team for so many different reasons. One of the main reasons I joined was to be able to express myself without having anyone telling me that "I can't say that" or "I can't write about this". I love how expressive I can be in my writings, and how I can help our followers learn new things through my work. I also vlog for the Cardinal Chronicle, and by doing so I am able to further my creativity and ideas. I love creating, and thinking outside the box, which is what the CC lets me do!
