PGA Volleyball team lost in the district semi-finals to Notre Dame Green Pond to wrap up a successful season. They were 15-5 (9-4 in Schuylkill League) in the regular season. They had a successful season qualifying for leagues and districts. They lost in the League Semi-Final to Nativity.  The team opened their season with a win in 3 straight sets against North Schuylkill. 

They also won their next game against Lourdes in 3 sets before an early test against the rival Panther Valley. In 3 tough sets, they lost. They won their next 2 games against Jim Thorpe and Marian Catholic. Their next game was against another rival and the eventual league champion Blue Mountain. They lost that in 3 straight sets. They won the next game and lost the next game at Pottsville. They won the next 2 games against Tamaqua and North Schuylkill. Then came the next game to qualify for leagues. That game was easily won. They lost on Senior Night against PV and won the last regular season game against Jim Thorpe. 

Next was League preparation for the game against Nativity. They lost that game. 

The next game was in district semi-finals. They lost against Green Pond to end their season. Captain, Maura Lehman said, “The season was a good season, but it ended a fun journey.”
