Christmas trees have represented family traditions for years. There are many options when choosing a tree that could be tailored to everyone’s needs. These traditions and needs can ultimately lead to forming one’s personal opinion of choice.

Every year, Christmas rolls around and the big thing everyone thinks of is the Christmas tree. Whether you use a real tree or a fake tree, they’re in almost everyone’s homes for Christmas. Some people choose to have a fake tree because it’s not as messy a real one or they might not like the smell of pine. Others choose to have a real one because they don’t like the idea of it being fake and they like the smell of pine in their house.

Every year there’s always a big debate over whether to buy a fake tree or a real tree. A big problem is availability. Fake trees are easier to buy in stores, online, and most other places. However, a real Christmas tree is harder to get ahold of because you have to go out to a tree farm or a seller in order to get one. Buying a real tree can be more time-consuming if you have a busy schedule. Another problem with real trees are the bugs they bring in, or if you own cats and dogs they can be a problem too. They get into the tree, knock over ornaments, pee on the tree, anything you can possibly think of. However, with a fake tree, it can also be very time-consuming if you have to assemble the tree yourself. Personally, I think it doesn’t look as nice. Your pets are still going to get into it, just like a real tree. They’re usually a lot smaller and it’s not the same as having a real Christmas tree in your home. Real trees look so much nicer in the living room when there all decorated.

Most families admit that they prefer a real tree over a fake one. Personally, with a family, it’s usually easier, nicer, and more convenient for them. However, most busy people or single people usually end up buying a fake tree every year. Real trees look prettier overall and are so much better than fake ones.
