Switching from Papers to Computers

Back in the day, people used pens, pencils, markers, and even crayons to write things down in school. Notes, essays, worksheets and so much more was done on paper. Then one year, schools started to buy computers and laptops to use for school work. It was the best thing ever because so much more was at the students’ fingertips. Their creativity, their knowledge, and their interests are further growing with the introduction of technology. Since then, more websites and apps have been created that we can even submit essays and projects at home. Also some teachers give us very few work days in school but then tell us to work on it at home, but is it possible?

Nowadays, some kids don’t have computers or phones to do their work or submit it. That also means that they have less time to do their class work at home if it has to be typed. This could cause the student to get a bad grade, which is not fair for the student. Teachers should make exceptions for those students so they can get the same chances at a good grade as everyone else. This would help a lot of students maintain low stress levels. Every student has stress from assignments, but these kids have even more because they will have to figure out how to get it done without a computer.

Sometimes, the students might have multiple classes that do online work and that will make them even more stressed out than they already are. On top of all that work and stress, they have other classes they are doing work in so they can’t use the computers to try and get it done. The kids could be straight A students, go to great schools, and have an amazing school career but these assignments that they struggle to get done can hurt their grades a lot.  It’s good that schools are growing and evolving with technology, but they also have to think about the students who don’t have technology at all.
