Senior of the Month: Mackensie Koch

Senior of the Month, Mackensie Koch.

Kolby Geesey, Staffer

“It feels gratifying to be named the Senior of the Month because it shows my hard work has been recognized and appreciated by my teachers/ advisors. It also is a great little prize to get to park so much closer to the school.”

Koch takes advanced classes and succeeds in all of them. “My first seven periods of the day are all pretty difficult, for I start with AP biology, then Spanish 4, then AP calculus, then AP Chemistry, next is AP U.S. History, before rounding out with AP English.”

As of Koch’s plans for after high school she isn’t so sure what she will be doing. “My plans after school are a little less defined, for as of now I’m just planning to attend a 4 year college and major in biology.”

Koch’s extracurricular activities are Yearbook, Volleyball, SADD, FBLA, Student Council, Prom Committee, International Club, National Spanish Honor Society, Literary Society, Quill and Scroll International Honor Society for Journalists, and History Honor Society. Koch says, “I would like to thank all of my teachers and all of the faculty for recognizing my hard work.”
