Billie Eilish has become majorly successful in the music industry for the past three years, ever since her debut song “Ocean Eyes” which was originally written by her brother for his band. Most people view her as problematic because of her choice of lyrics but refer to her as “a very relatable and humble person” outside of her music. She had previously released her EP don’t smile at me back in 2017 but on March 29th, 2019, her new album, containing fourteen upbeat, emotional tunes that most fans appreciated as much as the first was released. This album has been commercially successful and some of the songs, which were released as singles before they were added onto the album, blew up on the radio. These songs include “You Should See Me in a Crown,” “When the Party’s Over,” and “Bury a Friend.”

This album contains a variety of different sounds, conveys different emotions, and is overall a unique comparison to her other album and singles.  My personal favorite of the album is “Bury a Friend” because of its eerie lyrics, the tone of her voice, the bass, the backing vocals, and the creativity behind the music video.

In a nutshell, this whole album was executed perfectly and worth the wait after expecting its release for months. I’m sure most people know who Billie is as well as heard her music before, but if by chance you haven’t heard of this or got the chance to give it a listen just yet, I suggest you hop to it. It’s fantastic!
