April 2021 Senior of the Month, Hallie Wolfe.

McKenna Valentine and Brandon Unger

Each Senior of the Month was asked 10 questions…

1.How do you feel about being a senior?

-It makes me feel nervous because next year will be very different compared to any year that I’ve experienced so far, but I’m excited for the new opportunities and changes it will bring.

2.How do you feel about last year being hybrid?

-I was disappointed at first because I wasn’t able to see a lot of my friends for our last year in high school but it quickly became the new normal.

3.How do you feel about being senior of the month?

-It makes me feel very honored that the teachers that I look up to and admire noticed me doing my best and working hard at bettering myself.

4.Favorite and least favorite thing about being a senior during covid?

-My least favorite part is definitely not being able to see all of my friends, having to wear masks and be socially distanced, but my favorite part is that due to being hybrid, I got extra close to the people on my team and there more one on one time with the teachers when I needed help.

5.What do you want to do after you graduate?

-When I graduate I plan to attend HACC, Lebanon Community College, for 2 years then attend Kutztown University for 2 years to get a degree in psychology.

6.What piece of advice would you give to underclassmen?

-These years of high school might seem like a waste of your time, but make the most out of them. There are so many memories to be made and before you know it, you’re in the real world where it’s not so easy. Make sure to live in the moment before it’s gone.

7.If you play sports or do any other activities how were they affected with covid?

-I think the main activities that were affected by Covid were sports because there weren’t allowed to be student sections or even people in the stands other than family members which has never happened before. It was sad to not be able to cheer on our teams and show our school spirit.

8.What is your favorite memory from senior year so far?

-I have a lot of good memories from this year so far but my favorites are when we made deep fried oreos, fries, and steaks in my meat and food science class and played volleyball the completely wrong way in gym class.

9.What is your favorite thing to do outside of school?

-I love to spend time with my family, friends and being outdoors.

10.Who is someone you look up to?

-I definitely look up to my Dad, Mom, and step Dad a lot. I can always come to them for advice and good judgment, they work hard, and I will forever be grateful for the unconditional love and support they show me.
