The Pine Grove Area Girls Basketball team is run by head coach, Bill Evans who has been coaching for 20 years, and assistant coaches Joe Newhouser and Lauren Thompson. As a new coach to the team, Becky is excited to share her ways of the game with the players and continue to educate  on the game of basketball. “A new season is always exciting for everyone, and I am especially excited to be on the coaching staff and back in the PGA gym this year.”

This year’s team consists of 14 girls..   Even though the team graduated 4 starters, the Lady Cards have always been known for having successful teams and for winning basketball games. The expectations for this year will not be any different. Districts is a team goal that  is on each player’s mind. The team still has strong, powerful guards who are quick and tall girls who can work inside the paint. As long as the Lady Cards strive for what they want, which is Districts, this season looks promising for the program.
