The Cards continued their dominant run on Senior Night as they sent Lourdes home in a 3-0 sweep. This win meant more than most of the others as it was filled with powerful feelings from the ceremony only moments before warm-ups. The Seniors were very emotional, some shedding tears when hugging their littles and families as they walked down the court to the sound of the speeches they wrote.

Karissa Morgan, senior Captain, said, “It was a very emotional night, and bittersweet for everyone, it was very sad but very nice to see the rest of our season progress together.”

The entire starting lineup was seniors as it was their night to shine playing in front of their families. They won the match and got to take pictures to celebrate with their families. Megan Wolfe, senior Captain, said, “It was a very emotional night, and bittersweet for everyone, it was very sad but very nice to see the rest of our season progress together.”

Senior Night is important for many reasons; however, the most important reason is the memories that were created on the court. As this regular season ends and the postseason starts these seniors set their sights on a championship.
