Buddy’s Log Cabin is known for their home cooked meals. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrees. They also have an ice cream section of the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is very cabin-like and creates a warm welcoming atmosphere for customers. My favorite thing about going to Buddy’s is the staff. They are always very welcoming and always have a smile on their faces.

Established in 1955, Donald “Buddy” and Fran Donofrio bought the restaurant in 1978. It was built in the 1950s and was a small “take out” only restaurant, serving ice cream, hamburgers, and fries. After being sold to Donald and Fran they remodeled it and turned it into the welcoming dine in restaurant we all know and love today. The restaurant now offers indoor dining, ice cream, and curbside delivery so you can enjoy your favorite entrees from the comfort of your own home.

My favorite dish to get at Buddy’s is a ham and cheese omelet with homemade toast and hash brown. The eggs are always cooked to perfection with the melted cheese placed perfectly in the center. The toast is always toasted just right and goes amazing. Finally, the hash browns are always a deep golden color and it’s just the best way to finish off a simple but delicious meal.

Overall, I think Buddy’s Log Cabin is a wonderful place to spend your evening. The food is delicious, the staff is very welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. I strongly encourage stopping there to enjoy your favorite home-style meals. I would give the restaurant a star rating of 4.5 out of 5.
