The show “Arrow” is a run off of the DC Comics of the Green Arrow series. A multi millionaire drunk  has to work as CEO of his fathers company since his father stepped down. He then ends up stuck on a island which completely changes him and which inevitably slowly turned him into the “Green Arrow”

The first season of “Arrow” starts with the main character, Oliver Queen having flashbacks to his father, his girlfriend, and him going on a boating trip in the Pacific. When not even a day in, the boat crashes and they have to stay on a raft with limited resources. A day passes, and Oliver wakes up on the shore of an island in the Pacific called Lian Yu,  and both his girlfriend and father are gone.  Curious, he went exploring into the island that is filled with old army mines and mercenaries training there. While searching around the island he met a non-mercenary in a broken down plane, his name was Yao Fei. Yao Fei becomes a big help for Oliver in which he teaches him how to use a bow and arrow and learn and to hand combat.

A few months go by and he starts seeing more and more mercenaries, he starts to investigate and he finds the  camp where the mercenaries stay. That is when he meets the first antagonist of the show, Slade Wilson, which he’s also known as “Deathstroke”. Oliver plans on taking over this camp with all of the fighting techniques he has learned over the months, but little does he know this fight will trigger his memory and he will finally find out/remember what happened to his father and girlfriend.

This show is one of my favorites and one of the only shows I really watched. It’s a really good binge show if you have nothing else to watch and it’s really good if you are into crime fighting shows.
