The little quiet town of Woodsboro wakes up to screaming. The killer in the midst has seen one too many scary movies. Nobody is safe as this smart psychopath stalks victims, taunts them with trivia questions, and rips their bodies to shreds. Anybody is the victim. 

The story starts off when a highschool student Casey Becker who suddenly becomes the victim of a serial killer. She begins by answering her phone, and hears this man on the other line. However, this man starts to turn sadistic and threatens her life. He tells her that her boyfriend, Steve Orth, is being held hostage on her patio and demands she answer questions about horror movies over the phone. When she answers a question wrong, her boyfriend is killed immediately. After Casey refuses to answer any more questions after seeing this horrible sight, she is killed as well. Her parents come home to find both of the tennagers dead on their property.  The next day, the news gets involved and the story quickly spreads. 

The next victim of this awful killer is Sidney Prescott. She is struggling to get over the death anniversary of her mother when she suddenly gets a taunting phone call while waiting for her friend Tatum. She quickly hung up the phone and was soon attacked by this maniac. She gets away, but not without a fight. Her boyfriend, Billy Loomis, arrives but shortly after drops his cell phone. She begins to suspect he is the one who made the call and flees. Billy was arrested and Sidney spent the night at Tatums, but not without another call….

I personally like this movie as it has several twists and turns and leaves you with your heart racing and on the edge of your seat.  This movie is simply a classic as many have seen and enjoyed it. There are also several add on movies that add to the thriller. The production values are excellent and this movie is really thought out in the best way. Everyone involved in this movie is perfect together and creates perfect jump out of your seat moments.
