Show Review: Arrow Season 8

Rachel Sarge

The first episode for Season 8 of the show “Arrow” released on October 15, 2019. The 10th and final episode released on January 28, 2020. The show stars Stephen Adam as the “Green Arrow”.

Logan Fidler, Staffer

Starting  in season 8, Oliver Queen has made a comeback after season 7. Oliver has come back but not really, he’s in a time loop but not necessarily alive. While in this time loop he has a chance to restore most of his friends and family if he helps a sorcerer restore time.

After accepting this offer, he ends up back in Lian Yu. Which is where he gets into a big fight with the militia that was occupying the island back into season 1. Then, with his original team, he gets teleported over to Hong Kong which is where he was in season 2’s flashbacks. While he’s there he has to stop Anatoly from spreading a virus all over Hong Kong. When they get that done they finally get sent back into the bunker. While in the bunker they were teleported to another planet called “Earth – 2” which is in a complete other dimension and they meet their alter egos. They end up getting into a huge fight that will determine the fate of the universe.

After watching all 8 seasons, I feel like the end of the show was really good. It definitely met my expectations which were set pretty high. The whole show in general I would give a 4 out of 5 stars.
