The movie “Clifford The Big Red Dog” is about when a little girl named Emily Elizabeth meets a mysterious and magical animal giver. This animal gave her a normal sized dog at the time. But when she woke up the next day she came to find a 10-foot dog in her bedroom. While her mom is out on a business trip, she is staying with her uncle.

The movie was unannounced at a casting event during CinemaCon 2021 in Los Angeles. The movie is dedicated to the memory of Richard Robinson, who was the CEO of Scholastic. It stars Jack Whitehall, Darby Camp, Tony Hale, and many more. The movie is 96 minutes long and originally it was set to release on September 17th 2021, but to covid restrictions it was pushed back to November 10, 2021. Since the movie’s release date it has had its fair share of mixed reviews from critics and grossed 87$ million dollars. The movie was produced by Jordan Kerner and Lol Lucchese. They have announced in an open statement that there will be a sequel to the movie being released.

I feel like the movie is very in between, it’s neither good nor bad. Maybe if I was younger it would have appealed to me more but it overall was a decent experience. The actors fit very well especially the villain in the movie Zack Tieran. Overall, the movie was a 3/5 and would be a good movie to put on for younger siblings or something to watch when you are bored.
