Lady Cards Stomp Zephyrs

Lady Cards  won 41-27  against the Whitehall Zephyrs. This was an important game for the Cardinals because with the win they clinched the spot in District playoffs. 

Bailey Dorson said, “I’m glad that my Senior Season isn’t over quite yet and I think we have a really good chance of winning Districts”

The Cards started this game hot and finished the first quarter 12-2. Then in the second quarter the Cards continued their scoring run increasing the lead to 29-12. Both teams came out of the half flat only putting up 6 points a piece in the third quarter. After the third, the score was 35-18. In the fourth Whitehall came back slightly, but it wasn’t near enough making the Final score 41-27.

The Cards scoring was led by Mikaili Donmoyer’s 12 points. Whitehall’s scoring was led by Olivia Hines who put up 11 points.  

Mikaili Donmoyer said, “Everyone is focusing on getting their bodies right and recovering from the regular season while also getting the right mindset for the future and to keep advancing.”
