Pine Grove Area’s Cross Country team ran in the Cardinal Clash. The varsity boys team had 5 runners compete in the Cardinal Clash. While the varsity girls team had 8 runners compete in the Cardinal Clash. The races were the first events during the day filled with activities and sports, known as Homecoming. Each athlete was timed and successfully completed the race. The races start by running the length of the football field, then moved to the track. In the middle of the race they run a lap around the softball field. Finally they finish by doing a lap on the track.  The varsity boys team did not place but, the varsity girls team won 3rd overall. Sunni Krill, senior, placed 9th overall in the varsity girls division.
