Although The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire may not be for everyone, it is truly neat to see. From the costumes, food, events, and souvenir shops, you feel as though you are living in that time period.

As someone who had never been to the Renaissance Faire before, it was quite exciting being able to walk around and see the events and shops. One of the most memorable parts of the trip was being able to get a picture with the Unicorn! I also enjoyed witnessing the sword and mud fighting. The buildings and structures were beautiful and detailed to feel as if you were really walking down the streets in that time period.

On the other hand, there were a few cons about the trip. The weather was not very pleasant throughout the day which made for a cold and wet day. My food wasn’t the best, I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and it wasn’t cooked thoroughly but, I had an amazing chocolate milkshake to make up for it.

Overall, I had a fun-filled day with friends. It was a neat experience and I would definitely go again! I was really surprised seeing how many people dress up and get into character but, it added to the experience immensely by feeling like you were surrounded by people living their daily lives in the Renaissance Period.
