Lady Cards Prevail Over Miners

The Lady Cards took on Lady Miners in a clash of talent at Cardinal Stadium. Viktorya Luckenbach, sophomore, led The Lady Cards scoring with a hat trick and one assist in the 4-0 shutout win against the Miners. This match was a Schuylkill League Division 2 game and was a big win for The Lady Cards. 

Captain Mia Jefferson, Senior, said,  “We controlled the game from the start, to the end. Everyone that came on and off the field gave their full effort and we played our system, moving the ball inside and outside. All in all we came out of the game with a rewarding win.” 

Coach Bullock said, “The girls played really well, they came out of the gate really strong with 3 goals in the first half. A lot of girls got into the game and played hard. Our goal was to keep their shots as low as possible and play great defense.”
