A drawling of Pennywise from the movie “IT”.

The movie, “It” re-released in 2017 is a great movie and said to be a fan-favorite in the horror movie genre. After watching this movie, I’ve realized that the producers didn’t disappoint when it came to preventing flaws in this amazing movie. The main character, Pennywise the Clown (Bill Skarsgård) was played perfectly. Just the right amount of scariness. Pennywise’s voice was also very high pitched and weird, which made him sort of a funny character.

There was a group of kids that were fighting Pennywise during the movie. The main leader in that group was Bill (Jaeden Martell). He lost his brother, Georgie (Jackson Robert Scott) to Pennywise and wanted to get revenge. Pennywise haunted the kids in scary ways that frightened viewers of the movie. The group was also fun to watch. There was a funny kid named Richie (Finn Wolfhard) who made parts that were supposed to be scary, very funny. There was also a girl in the group which made it more interesting considering that there was sort of a romantic connection between Beverley (Sophia Lillis) and Bill. This made the movie much more interesting.

There weren’t many flaws in this movie, it was truly a thrill to watch. There was a lot of nonstop action. If I had to point out one flaw it would be that Pennywise was disturbing in some scenes, including the scene where he killed Georgie. The movie was truly the definition of a thriller. Overall, this 2017 version of the movie “It” was a great movie, one of the best I’ve ever watched.
