Casey Clauser is the new physical education and drivers education teacher.

Clauser first became a teacher because he likes to work with and educate kids. He also loves sports and is a soccer coach at his child’s school.

Clauser said, “ I’m enjoying the school year so far, I like that it’s a small school and it’s community based. I’m happy to be a part of the Cardinal family and am excited to have a future here.”

Clauser went to Lock Haven University and then worked at Pennsylvania State University as an extension master gardener coordinator. His duties in this position included coordinating volunteers in consumer horticulture. He also started a watershed program while he was there. Another project Clauser worked on was an urban farm called “Oasis Farm” which taught kids how to grow and cook healthy foods.
