The new Netflix Series “Wednesday” has been a huge success since its release on November 23rd. More than 50 million households have watched the series since its premiere.

The first season of the newly released series, contains eight episodes following Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) throughout her experience at her new school Nevermore. Wednesday’s mother, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) had previously attended Nevermore and tries to convince Wednesday that she’ll enjoy her new school and make many friends, as it is a school of misfits. Wednesday doesn’t necessarily enjoy her new school and surroundings, even attempting to run away, but she’s caught. Wednesday attends the local faire and has recently been experiencing visions. After attempting to warn a fellow classmate named Rowan (Calum Ross) , that he might be in danger, by following him into the woods she is attacked and almost killed. Someone or something then comes along killing Rowan. Police search the woods looking for Rowan’s body but find nothing. After waking up back at Nevermore, Wednesday is shocked when she sees Rowan alive and standing in the doorway. Throughout the remainder of the series, Wednesday investigates the towns murder spree, learns how to deal with her psychic ability, and deal with new friendships.

Overall, I found the series to be very entertaining. There were many unexpected twists and turns. As someone who typically does not enjoy unrealistic fictional shows/movies, I thoroughly enjoyed the series! I would recommend watching this series and would rate it 5/5 stars.
