Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was playing a good game against the Philadelphia Eagles until tragedy struck. Rodgers threw for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns before re-injuring his thumb that has caused him problems in the past. The Packers were in a very close game against the 9-1 Eagles so it was a very hard choice to take Rodgers out of the game. Once they took him out since the injury would get worse if not, they put backup quarterback Jordan Love in to play. Jordan Love then went on to throw for 113 yards and 1 touchdown in just one quarter of football and only 9 pass attempts. The Packers still lost 33-40, but only by a single touchdown. Jordan Love was on point, throwing right where the receiver would be. He threw a 63 yard touchdown pass to rookie receiver Christian Watson, which was one of the best throws of the Packers season.

Many Packers fans are hoping that history repeats itself and Jordan Love brings a bright future to the Packers Franchise. Before Aaron Rodgers played, star quarterback Brett Favre was the Packers starter. He played extremely well, winning a super bowl for the Packers. That was until Brett got injured, and Aaron Rodgers finally got a chance to play. Rodgers went on to play amazing, winning a super bowl and four MVP awards. Packers fans hope that Love will do the same as what Rodgers did. Since it’s the same situation they think history will repeat itself and Jordan Love will turn out to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
