Stanley vs. Yeti
It seems that everywhere you look, you see someone with a cup. Stanley cups have taken over social media platforms such as TikTok, making them extremely popular amongst young adults. Although this is true, Yeti cups have still remained liked by many. The question that remains is are Stanley Cups actually reliable or are they just simply trendy and how do they compare to Yeti cups?
Yeti was founded by two brothers in 2006 but later began selling cups and travel mugs in 2014. They have remained popular ever since. Their business took off by creating one of if not the most reliable cooler. So, it must be assumed that their cups also live up to this standard.
On the other hand, Stanley cups were created in 1913 by William Stanley, Jr. They were originally created for hot drinks. Things have changed, considering these cups were created over 100 years ago. So, do Stanley Cups still live up to the expectation that Stanley created in the early 1900s?
When comparing the two, both come in a 30oz cup and both are similar in price ranging between $31-$38. Stanley Cups come with a built in straw, handle, and can hold ice for over 10+ hours. It is also spill proof. However, they are not made for hot drinks and are also not customizable. Yeti Cups are customizable and can be used for hot drinks as well. They aren’t completely spill proof and they don’t hold ice as long.
Both Stanley and Yeti compare and differ in many ways. Both cups seem to be reliable in their own ways. The decision comes down to specific things you are looking for when choosing a cup you want.
