“I love coaching. Shaping young minds.”
This is what Brittanie Deibler, the new head volleyball coach, said when she was asked how she was liking coaching so far this season. Brittanie was a student at Pine Grove Area. She went to Alvernia University for Health Sciences but then she switched and finished with getting a degree in Occupational Therapy. When Deibler was in college she played softball for 4 years and volleyball for 2 years. She was an outside hitter in college along with high school. She is married to Donald Deibler, they have 2 children.
“Yes, I think when you start being a head coach for high school or college is always the goal in mind when you’re coaching, especially when I started with club and volunteering for high school.”
Varsity needs to work on communication, out and right side hitting, tip defense, and minimizing mistakes. Although she said a handful of things she does have lots of faith in the team. There is always room for improvement. With a lot of time and dedication this team can make it really far.
