Red Lion Café is known for their homestyle meals. They serve platters, salads, sandwiches, pizza, hoagies and many more great foods. The last time I went there, I got the oven baked turkey breast, with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I highly recommend it because it was all so tasty. I also recommend their party subs if you have a large group of people to feed. They are very big, delicious, and reasonably priced. Not only is the food great, but the service is great too. All of the waitresses/waiters are very kind and caring and will get you anything you need. Red Lion has a very great environment.

Red Lion Café is a family owned business right outside of Pine Grove started by Ray Morgan Sr. and his wife Minnie in the 1930s. They started by running a one room store selling groceries, gas and kerosene.  Then later on, they decided to get their restaurant liquor license and added a one room restaurant and bar to their business. Approximately 20 years later, their son Raymond Jr. and his wife Lorraine took over the business. Then in 1970, they decided to add a dining room. F As the business grew even larger, they added a new kitchen, banquet room, and more dining space just 10 years later. Ray and Lorraine “retired” in 2008 but are still very active. The business was so successful that they added a take out room in 2012. Now every Wednesday, they hold trivia nights and every Friday they have live musical entertainment.

Overall I think Red Lion is a very family friendly place that almost everyone would enjoy. I recommend going there if you love homestyle meals. The food was very good and had very affordable prices. The service is very fast, and they always get you what you need. The staff is very friendly and caring. I recommend stopping there for the delicious food. I give Red Lion Café 4.9 out of 5.0 stars.
