Restaurant Review: Sweet G’s Bakery

Almond slices being added as the crunch.

Kierah Harwi, Staffer

Some menu items most popular at Sweet G’s are their acai bowls, coffees and pastries. The acai bowls have a smoothie like base, fruit and an option of crunchy toppings. My personal opinion  the acai bowls are great.  They are a nice refreshing lunch or snack food. They have an amazing amount of creativity. My personal favorite is the strawberry banana acai bowl. I tend to prefer almond slices and chia seeds, as my “crunch” components. It’s the perfect snack or lunch for someone who likes to be health conscious. You can customize these bowls however you like. These are a very popular choice for a lot of their customers.

Another very popular item is their coffees. My personal favorite is the iced caramel coffee.   It’s refreshing and is sweet.  I tend to go to Sweet G’s before school.   They have blended drinks as well and come in similar flavors to their iced coffees. Besides, my iced caramel coffee I treat myself to a cupcake. My favorite is vanilla with vanilla icing.  For me, the icing is just sweet enough without it being too overpowering. They are sweet and made right in front of you.

Lastly, they have many food options. They have melts, breakfast sandwiches, poke bowls, bagels and salads. All of their food is made right in front of you in the store. You can customize almost all of the food you can order. You can choose what goes in your salads, poke bowls and wraps/melts. They are all really good in my opinion. They are all made to your liking and fresh. You can go in the morning, as Sweet G’s opens at 7 and closing times vary.
