The future of Marvel is looking very bright with new faces and some familiar ones too. Coming out first is Moon Knight. Being released on March 30th we will be introduced to a new character from the comic book world named Marc Spector. Marc Spector or Moon Knight, will be played by Oscar Isaac. Isaac has had many big roles in the Marvel Universe and in other comic book movies. In 2016, he played in X-Men Apocalypse and the main villain Apocalypse. In 2018, he voice acted in Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse as Muigel O’Hara also known as Spider-Man 2099. Outside of the Marvel Universe he’s played in three different Star Wars movies, and the 2021 hit movie, Dune. It’s safe to say he is qualified enough to play this role as Marc and I’m super excited to see what happens in the series.

Coming on April 1, is the newest project outside of the MCU, Morbius. Dr. Michael Morbius is played by award winning actor, Jared Leto. Morbius is a world renowned doctor as he’s saved many lives but now he’s caught an incurable disease that will eventually lead to his early death. He is taken to a healing spring where he’s overcome by bats and ends up getting their powers. He is healed and stronger than ever but he has supernatural powers and has a blood lust. While I’m not super excited for this, I’m interested to see how it plays out with the trailer leaving clues about the multiverse.

Last but not least coming on May 6th, Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This is probably one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year after the release of Spider-Man No Way Home. We saw Dr Strange knowingly break the space time continuum and he will have to pay a heavy toll for that. Going back farther to the first MCU show, WandaVision is going to play a role because she kidnapped and brainwashed a whole town. As well as some of the other MCU shows like Loki and What If…?  Loki was the first show to introduce us to the thought of the multiverse and as we saw throughout the show there are different variants of each character from different universes. We also saw in What If…? that Supreme Strange who was the leader of the “Guardians of the Multiverse” will play a role in the Multiverse of Madness as we saw him in the trailer. I think it’s safe to say that Marvel has many new promising projects that will leave fans satisfied and confused at the same time.
