“The main issue with the health of the students is obesity, but overall the school is healthy,” said Mrs. Herber, nurse.  To avoid obesity it is best to exercise and implement a healthier diet. By exercise, she doesn’t mean anything major, just a 15- 20 minute walk daily. Dieting doesn’t have to be a major change either. Instead of eating one big meal when you get home from school, eat several small meals to help control your hunger.

Another thing with dieting is to make the portions smaller than what you normally eat. Eating more fresh fruits and vegetables. Try to stay away from the sugary drinks, like energy drinks, soda, juice, ect. Drinking more water, preferably 7-10 glasses of water a day, can also help control hunger and is a healthy alternative from the more sugary drinks. You should also pay close attention to the portion size on labels. Going by what the portion size of the package says can also improve your diet

Smoking cigarettes and juuling is bad for students health. If you start smoking or juuling at a young age, it will cause problems for you in the future. It could cause heart problems and lung problems. It’s better not to start because it’s harder to quit when you’re older. If you do smoke now, it’s best to quit before it’s too late and you face any of the problems smoking/juuling causes.
